Hi! I'm Kathryn. I have lived in Spain for more than 13 years and have no intention of leaving here! I moved here after meeting my husband whilst visiting my parents who had lived here for 4 years. We first holidayed in El Campello in 1996 and fell in love with the place. I'm now grateful to be able to bring our daughter up in this beautiful place, we have the Mediterranean a stones throw away, and so many amazing places on our doorstep.

 

Handmade and personalised gifts have always been of an interest to me and when I asked a friend in the UK to order me a Scrabble Art frame from a small business there and post it over to me, she suggested “why don’t you make your own?”. So I sourced everything I needed and set to work. After enjoying the whole process of cutting, measuring and gluing, I came up with the idea to start up my own business making these to order. And the rest, as they say, is history.

The frames were, and still are, a massive hit with the local ex-pats, and something unique for the local Spanish people, every single frame that has been made has been unique and different, there will never be two of the same if any of the gifts I make.

After suffering with COVID 19 in 2021, my cognitive health was never quite the same, and returning to my job as a teacher became challenging. I was very lucky to be given the opportunity to take over a holiday home management business, which then led me down the path of holiday rentals, and Kreationz Vacationz was born! I have 14 properties that I manage the marketing, bookings, cleans and maintenance of, and a further 30+ properties of which I am a key holder and manager of cleaning and maintenance. I have a fantastic team who help me to create perfect holidays for our guests on the beautiful Costa Blanca.
